People shop online more than before. Surely, this pandemic is accelerating
the expansion of E-commerce. Not only shopping, but we could also have
more opportunities to take lectures and lessons online.
On topic1, I would like to talk with you about online services now and
future.
Q1 Do you shop online frequently? Where do you buy, Rakuten, Amazon, Yahoo,
etc..? Why?
Q2 What were the best and worst items you bought online?
Q3 many universities open their online lectures to the public, and companies
own school businesses have started to utilize online to provide lessons
more. Have you ever taken any lessons or lectures online?
Q4 What would be e-commerce like in the future? How do we shop in the future,
how do we receive services online?
TOPIC 2: What could the government do to achieve the goal to reduce greenhouse
gas emissions 46% by 2030.
Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga announced that Japan will target a 46% cut
in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 from 2013 levels, a sharp upgrade from
the 26% cut. I wonder whether it is achievable or not, and wonder how each
industry, company, and our government takes steps to reach this goal.
Q1 One of the major causes to produce greenhouse gas in our life is the
transport sector, such as automobiles, airplanes, and transport vehicles
and vessels. EV is pick up as a saver in this industry. What could this
sector do for reducing?
Q2 Regarding the power plants, wind and solar powers are expected to contribute
to reduction. Do you think wind and solar power could replace thermal power
using coal and fossil fuels?
Q3 Are there any factors to make an impact on the amount of greenhouse
gas emissions?
How do you think we should deal with it for reduction?
Q4 Based on the discussion we go through, do you think this 46% reduction
is achievable for our society?

NOTE: I understand some opinions insist greenhouse gas is no relation to
global warming and skepticism about global warming itself, but here in
this discussion, I want to focus on the points of my topic and questions.
